I feel like Tyra Banks is an awesome example of what a woman should be. I'm sure I will get less than positive responses to this post, but maybe a few of you will agree. After watching several years of Tyra's talk show and ANTM I feel as if Tyra has lost her ability to be humble. She often credits herself with saving peoples unfortunate circumstances single-handedly. Such as saying, "I found her in a homeless shelter and now I have made her a huge super-model." Tyra also refers to the Tyra Show as "her" show anytime a guest doesn't say something the she and "her" audience agree with. Simply, I am aware that Tyra has helped many people with different struggles, it just seems as if she MUST make her followers aware of all the fabulous things she does for these people...how about showing a tad more humbleness and appreciation for the position you have made for youself.

hey tyra,i just turned thirteen in january and life has really tooken a toll on me with family, friends and of course school. im not the one in the drama though, thats something i dont do. aNYWAYS YOU AND JANET JACKSON are my top role models and i know youve heard alot of ppl say that but theirs not a day that goes by where i dont listen to janet or michael and not watch your show. After the passing of michael i realize i can stand around any longer ive always wanted to be an actress and a singer butmy mom always said that she didnt have the money. so now i am acting on my own im trying to do things so i can be able to be where i want to be, but its really hard considering im only thirteen and im in alot of sports. if you have any advice plz share

hi tyra i live in the bahamas and i love to watch your show i am 14 years old roughly 80 pounds and about 5'3. i get teased alot but i stick up for myself i was once called the anorexic model it hurt but i showed no feelings to them. \but i say thank you for standing up for people like me or people who are different and trying to show the world there is no that should ressemble another so thank you. you are and will always be one of the people i look up to

hey tyra, my name is tamika and i am a very huge fan of yours my three year old daughter loves you very much. everytime she looks at her shadow on the ground she stop and pose and says i am fierce. i also am a very huge fan of yours,every since i was a little girl i wanted to be just like you i feel we have been through some of the same problems. i am 5'11 really skinny i wear a size 12 in shoes and all my life i have been talked about until the point where i have really low self esteam. but you wear my barbie when i was little. i feel that you are impowering for women everywhere. please no matter how many critics there are against you please keep being you just the way you are for people like me that cant do it for them selves. respectfully yours: tamika lee
